Graduation Quilts

STEPPING INTO THE WORLD  -- The symbol for the sixth faith stepping stone is an angel, a symbol of God’s protection over His children.  It is a reminder to your child of his/her profession of faith, commitment to worship and service, and of God’s promise of guidance and love for the rest of your child’s life.   As young people graduate from high school, the congregation presents a quilt to them as a symbol of the warmth and protection of God’s love and the love of our Christian family that will be with them wherever they go.
